4-H is an educational youth organization open to boys and girls ages 9-19 years. It is organized throughout the United States as well as in many foreign countries. In Louisiana, the Louisiana Cooperation Extension Service, as a part of the LSU AgCenter, conducts the 4-H Program.In St. Landry parish, there are 44 organized clubs with over 1300 members. Members work on individual 4-H projects, participate in club, parish, district, and state educational programs and activities and learn from educational demonstrations provided by 4-H agents, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Meghan.
