The Post-Secondary Carousel will be held on October 11, 2017 at the Opelousas Yambilee Building, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Yes, we are moving to a new location this year! With that being said, it will be extremely important we have 100% participation among juniors and seniors. Letters to junior and senior parents were mailed this week, and we have a number of new recruiters who have expressed interest in attending this year’s event.
As we have done in past years, bus transportation will be provided for the event. Bus schedule will be as follows: 4:40 p.m. depart from the high school to Yambilee Building; 6:00 p.m. depart from Yambilee for return back to the high school.
Students (juniors and seniors) should register on the gotocollegefairs.com site and should bring their bar code information to the event. Students are encouraged to go to the library before school, or during lunch to register and print their bar code contact sheet to bring with them to the Yambilee Wednesday evening.

*** OHS zip code is 70571.

This building will be placed near the track and baseball fields. We have the blueprints, and the estimated cost of construction is $200,000.
